What is the difference between PCM and PCB at Dunes Academy?
PCM (Physics–Chemistry–Mathematics) is the combination for students targeting engineering, technology and mathematics-based careers, including JEE preparation. PCB (Physics–Chemistry–Biology) is for students aiming at medicine, pharmacy, biotechnology or life sciences, including NEET preparation. Both combinations include English Core as a compulsory subject.
Is JEE and NEET coaching included in regular school hours?
Yes. Dunes Academy integrates competitive exam coaching into the school timetable. Students do not need to travel to a separate coaching institute — structured sessions for JEE (PCM) and NEET (PCB) are conducted on campus by subject specialists, alongside the regular CBSE curriculum.
What laboratory facilities are available for Science Stream students?
The school has three fully equipped science laboratories:
- Physics Laboratory — for mechanics, optics and electricity experiments
- Chemistry Laboratory — for titrations, qualitative analysis and synthesis practicals
- Biology Laboratory — with microscopes, slides and specimens for Botany and Zoology
All labs are staffed with trained lab assistants and meet CBSE practical requirements for Classes XI and XII.
Are direct admissions available in Class XI Science?
Admissions are open for Class XI Science (both PCM and PCB) for the 2026–27 session. As per CBSE regulations, direct admissions are not permitted into Class XII. All applicants must complete the admission assessment and parent interaction session before confirmation.
