How It Works

The Admission Process

Six straightforward steps — from registration to receiving your official offer letter.

01

Register Your Enquiry

Begin by submitting a registration form — online through our official website or in person at the Admissions Office. Both routes are equally valid.

02

Submit the Application Form

Complete the Application Form and hand it in along with all required supporting documents. Submission does not guarantee admission — it opens the formal assessment stage.

03

Written Assessment

All registered applicants must appear for a written assessment in age-appropriate subjects. The assessment helps the school understand each child's academic readiness.

04

Interaction with the Principal

Shortlisted students attend an interaction session with parents or guardians, conducted by the Principal and the Admissions Committee.

05

Offer Letter Issued

Successful candidates receive an Official Letter of Admission, along with clear instructions for document submission and fee payment as per the Prospectus.

06

Confirm Enrolment

Complete document submission and fee payment within the stipulated timeline to secure your child's seat for Session 2026–27. The seat is confirmed only after payment.

Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions parents most commonly ask before and during the admission process.

Can I apply for admission online?

Yes. Registration can be completed online through the official Dunes Academy website, or by visiting the Admissions Office in person and submitting a physical Application Form. Both methods are accepted for the 2026–27 session.

Does registration guarantee my child a seat?

No. Submitting a registration form opens the assessment stage but does not confirm admission. A seat is confirmed only after the student successfully qualifies in the written assessment, attends the principal interaction, and completes fee payment.

Can my child get direct admission to Class X or XII?

Direct admissions to Grade X and Grade XII are not permitted under applicable CBSE board regulations. All other grades from Nursery to Class XI are open for admission subject to seat availability.

What streams are available at the senior secondary level?

Dunes Academy offers Science and Commerce streams for Classes XI and XII. Parents and students should indicate the preferred stream at the time of application for Classes XI and above.

What happens at the written assessment?

The written assessment is age- and grade-appropriate, designed to understand the student's academic readiness. It is not a competitive entrance exam — the goal is to help the school place students in the right learning environment.

Is the boarding facility currently open?

Boarding facility opening soon — register your interest. Families interested in boarding can reach the Admissions team via WhatsApp to be notified as soon as boarding becomes available.

What is the last date to apply?

The last date for Day School admissions is 15th March each year. Boarding admissions close earlier, on 15th February. Both are subject to seat availability, and seats may fill before the deadline.
