In the spring, the Middle School’s science, technology, and mathematics departments work together to expand student’s horizons.
Students at Dunes Academy are challenged to apply STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) to better understand community issues and provide workable solutions.
Students zero focus on genuine questions and come up with their own experiments, probes, and technical solutions to solve actual issues.
Each student in middle school is handed a Chromebook for usage during the school year. Teachers may utilise Schoology, an online learning management system, to keep tabs on their kids’ progress and share that information with parents.
Students may benefit from taking electives in areas such as art, family and consumer science, health, technology, financial literacy, careers, chorus, and band.
While kids in middle school do study some computer science, podcasting, and broadcasting as part of their required curriculum, they also have the choice to pursue optional classes in these areas if they so desire.
Our middle school students have access to a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including football, volleyball, cross country, basketball, wrestling, track and field, as well as band, choir, yearbook, talented and gifted programs, and after-school events. Students benefit from a developmentally appropriate curriculum that is delivered by our attentive and hardworking teachers.
The vast campus at Dunes Academy in the peaceful rural town of Tehsil Aau in the Phalodi District of Rajasthan, India, is a wonderfully stunning setting.
