Sports are less about individual skill and more about teamwork and cooperation.
At Dunes Academy, kinesthetic education is emphasized. This fits nicely with the requirements of lifelong education. School programmes often include sporting events.
Sports at Dunes Academy are designed to improve students’ well-being in all aspects of their lives, including their physical fitness, mental toughness, and social interactions.
Activities like cricket, football, basketball, hockey, and athletics are just a few examples. All pupils will be expected to contribute actively to the school’s vigorous sports and fitness program.
The school’s existing sports programme will be bolstered by our efforts to implement a skill progression (sequence of skills) from motor skills to game skills.
Indian sports, including badminton, athletics, long jump, high jump, shot put, and the more traditional Kho-Kho, Kabbadi, etc., are used for rigorous training.
There are many intramural contests on campus, and there are also extramural tournaments at the national, state, and district levels.
We include sports and games in every lesson. All sports and activities serve as excellent examples of important qualities such as self-control, self-reliance, bravery, and accountability.
The vast campus at Dunes Academy in the peaceful rural town of Tehsil Aau in the Phalodi District of Rajasthan, India, is a wonderfully stunning setting.
