The Admissions Journey, Stage by Stage
Dunes Academy’s admission process runs in six clear steps, from your first enquiry through to a confirmed seat:
Register Your Enquiry
Online through the website, or in person at the Admissions Office.
Submit the Application Form
With all required supporting documents.
Written Assessment
Age-appropriate, to understand your child’s academic readiness.
Interaction with the Principal
Shortlisted students and parents meet the Principal and Admissions Committee.
Offer Letter Issued
Successful candidates receive an Official Letter of Admission.
Confirm Enrolment
Document submission and fee payment within the stipulated timeline secures the seat.

What to Expect Along the Way
Registering your enquiry does not guarantee a seat — it opens the formal assessment stage. A seat is confirmed only once your child has completed the written assessment, attended the Principal interaction, and fee payment has been received. Admissions are subject to seat availability at every grade, and the school may update timelines during the session, so it is worth checking in periodically rather than assuming a date is fixed.
If you are considering boarding for your child, note that the boarding facility is currently opening soon — you can register your interest via WhatsApp Admissions and our team will keep you updated as places become available.
Throughout this process, our Admissions team is available to answer questions at any stage — you do not need to wait until you’re ready to submit an application to reach out. Many parents contact us early simply to understand fees, eligibility, or what campus life is actually like before deciding to proceed.
Academic Calendar Highlights
The academic session runs across two terms, with periodic tests, half-yearly and annual examinations, and Parent-Teacher Meetings scheduled throughout the year so families can plan ahead. Pre-board examinations for Classes X and XII fall in Term 2, ahead of the CBSE Board Examinations. The full calendar, including exact term dates and PTM schedules, is published on our Academics page and is reviewed periodically — please check there or with the school office for the most current dates, as academic calendars are indicative and subject to revision.
Report cards are issued twice a year, and Periodic Test results are shared with families and discussed at the corresponding Parent-Teacher Meeting — a rhythm designed to keep you informed of your child’s progress without waiting for a single annual result.
