Admissions
Yes. Registration can be completed online through the official Dunes Academy website, or by visiting the Admissions Office in person and submitting a physical Application Form. Both methods are accepted for the current session. See Admissions Process & Eligibility for the full step-by-step guide.
No. Submitting a registration form opens the assessment stage but does not confirm admission. A seat is confirmed only after the student successfully completes the written assessment, attends the Principal interaction, and completes fee payment.
No. Direct admissions to Class X and Class XII are not permitted under CBSE board regulations. All other grades from Nursery to Class XI are open for admission, subject to seat availability.

Academics
Classes VI–XII have two Periodic Tests per term, Half-Yearly Examinations at the end of Term 1, and Annual Examinations at the end of Term 2. Classes X and XII additionally sit Pre-Board Examinations before the CBSE Board Exams. Primary classes follow a continuous assessment model with no single high-stakes exam.
Students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in both Theory and Practical (where applicable) for each subject to be considered as passed by CBSE. School internal assessments follow the same threshold.
Yes. CBSE awards grades (A1 to E) for Classes IX and X on the official marksheet, along with Cumulative Grade Points. For Classes XI and XII, actual percentage marks appear on the CBSE marksheet alongside the corresponding grade.
Report cards are issued twice a year, and Periodic Test results are shared directly with students and discussed at termly Parent-Teacher Meetings. Boarding
Yes. Dunes Academy is a co-educational boarding school with separate, secure residential wings for boys and girls, each with dedicated warden and house staff present at all times.
Boarding students receive four meals daily — breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. The diet is balanced and fully vegetarian, freshly prepared in our on-campus cafeteria, with special meals served on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The campus operates with round-the-clock supervision. Dedicated wardens and house staff are present throughout the day and night, in the safe, peaceful rural surroundings of Tehsil Aau, Phalodi — well away from city traffic and urban risks.
Boarding at Dunes Academy is intended for students from Class IV through Class XII, subject to availability. As the facility is opening soon, please contact our admissions team via WhatsApp for the most current eligibility details.
Fees
Fees for each quarter are due within 10 days from the start of that quarter. A late payment charge applies beyond the due date. Full quarterly amounts by class are listed on our Fees & Scholarships page.
No. School fees cover tuition and academic session charges only. Hostel fees are billed separately on an annual basis, in addition to the quarterly school fees.
Dunes Academy accepts Bank Transfer (NEFT / IMPS), UPI, QR code scan, and direct bank deposit. Please mention your child’s full name in the payment remarks so the payment is correctly attributed. For payment queries, contact our Accounts department.
Yes. New students are required to pay a one-time Admission Fee at the time of joining. This is separate from the quarterly school fee and is non-recurring.
