Every month, classroom teachers and guidance counselors collaborate to plan and implement character education sessions. Throughout the year, the courses revolve around a children's literary book and include a wide range of activities. Topics like discipline, accountability, thankfulness, empathy, respect, honesty, teamwork, resolve, and patience are discussed each month.
Strong language and communication abilities have been related to improved results in school and beyond, highlighting the importance of developing these skills early on in children and adolescents. Learning, behavior, and social and emotional growth are only a few of the many facets of development that are influenced by adept communication abilities. All of our students, even those who may have difficulties with speech, language, and communication, benefit from a school wide emphasis on communication.
We support events on campus that highlight the values that guide our teaching, research, and business practices, as well as those that encourage healthy, responsible lifestyles. The elimination of tobacco use on campus and other environmental initiatives are among them.
